Job Description: Job Title: Payroll Supervisor Location: Field Support Services Reports To: Human Resource Director Summary: Responsible for the management of all payroll compensation, analysis and reporting. Supervise and review payroll administrator assignments for accuracy and completion within payroll deadlines. Maintain data integrity between HRIS and ADP payroll software. Communicate with IT on critical system support issues. Respond to escalated employee payroll concerns. Ensure timely reporting of accurate payroll information to the accounting department and CFO. Follow compliance with state and federal tax laws. Understand payroll related policies and procedures as well as developing new policies as needed. Ability to keep all payroll and Human Resource information confidential. Possess a strong sense of urgency and proactive approach. Perform other job duties as assigned by Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Payroll Management Oversee completion of pay cycle procedures for Biweekly payroll for 700+ employees by deadline Manage, direct and mentor payroll administrator with an emphasis on organizational skills and career development Assign day to day tasks and checklists for effective work flow results to the payroll administrator Ability to process biweekly payroll individually and required to do Payroll if payroll administrator was unable to complete assignment Review of quick view and final payroll register for accuracy of pay checks, pay rates, bonus amounts, and deductions Review all Direct Deposit information, garnishments, insurance, uniform, and pay advance deductions entered into ADP software Review all auto pay for salaried personnel, guaranteed bonuses, and Manager bonuses for data entry accuracy Review and analysis of accrual calculations, quarterly payroll reports, tax returns and master control information Maintain integrity of personnel information between Great Plains and ADP software Interface with IT on critical Sponge, DRB, ADP, GP and system support issues as necessary Ensure timely delivery of Payroll checks via Overnight Services to all locations Identify and resolve problems with payroll processing efficiently and effectively Ability to analyze payroll reports for errors and effective proactive resolution to prevent future errors Approve and process manual payroll checks as needed Coordinate the maintenance and organization of all payroll records and personnel files Perform other job duties as assigned by Management Job Qualifications/Requirements and Benefits Qualifications: Associates degree in accounting, finance or related work experience in lieu of degree
