Job Description:
Provides direction and coordination to professional and clerical staff within the department and cross-functionally. Responsible for the timely and accurate review and posting of month end close and accounting transactions; P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution; and financial analysis. Ensures financial records are in compliance with Consistently maintains appropriate internal controls and upholds company policies & procedures including Worldwide Controller\'s manual. Interacts successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter end, interim and year-end audits by providing timely & accurate data and communication. Evaluates processes and recommends & implements process improvements. Europe Specific Job Requirements Management of a multi-task accounting team necessary to fulfill the accounting and reporting requirements under and local including statutory reporting and tax declarations. Develops, implements and maintains accounting systems policies and procedures and adapts to local use where necessary. Will directly support country Finance Heads by supervision of the monthly close process including preparation of related financial statements and supporting documentation in compliance with the monthly financial reporting SOP specific to European Operations.
