Works with ODT in improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing department structures and evaluating options, studying resources and ensuring optimal utilization, assessing employee climate, morale and effectiveness and developing action steps to improve the aforementioned. · Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, representing organization at hearings, interprets Company policy for managers and employees. · Partners with recruiting function and business unit to help managers with recruitment by assisting in the requisition and selection process. · Keeps abreast of latest trends and technology related to human resource functions. Identifies and suggests ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. · Develops policies, programs and processes that enhance the Human Resource / Employee Relations function. Ensures adherence to policy. · Evaluates human relations and work-related problems and develops solutions within the confines of policy and directives. Assists managers and team leaders with coaching and counseling for problem resolution and improved employee performance. · Oversees the compensation program, which includes developing job descriptions, performing job analysis, analyzing salary surveys to monitor internal equity and market competitiveness and facilitates the performance evaluation program. Guides managers through the Salary Planning process.
