Job Description:
The Chief of the Recruitment Branch within the Office of Human Resources manages the agency-wide recruitment program. Provides leadership to human resources senior specialists, specialists and assistants, responsible for all the recruitment efforts within the agency, including entry level hiring, the Nuclear Safety Professional Development Program, Secretarial hires and special employment programs for students (student/temporary programs and coops). Provides advice, assistance and services to managers, supervisors, employees and applicants on all phases of the U. resources recruitment program, encompassing clerical, administrative, scientific, technical and wage gra. Strategic advisor and partner with management on a wide range of human capital initiatives inclumanaging diversity. Develops policy and manages the implementation, interpretation and evaluation of agency-wide on recruitment activities. Further, manages a staff which oversees contracts with advertising firms, the purpose of which is to procure recruitment displays, ship and store the same for recruiting events, design promotional materials and coordinate placement of advertisements in various journals. Plans and coordinates the activities of the work unit to assure that work assignments.
