Job Description:
Assesses the need for talent in relation to business changes, including the need for specific competencies, knowledge or skills; partner with recruiting resources to ensure the best talent pool is available to achieve short- and long-term business goals and objectives.* Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues; recommends and implements solutions for resolution while maintaining HR confidentiality and integrity.* Partners with legal counsel to effectively resolve employee relations issues and minimize risk and exposure to the business.* Develops a comprehensive understanding of the business unit's current and future needs to interpret and communicate HR implications to the business unit management team. Disseminates necessary information to the appropriate personnel and collaborates with HR staff in order to proactively develop and implement HR initiatives that will assist the business unit in its achievement of their objectives/goals.* Travels to work sites within the assigned business unit on a regular basis to meet with the managers and staff. Determines the skill sets and developmental needs of the employees, the strengths/weaknesses of the group, communication styles, working relationships, and organizational structure.* Leads HR related projects in areas relating to organizational development, rewards & recognition and other initiatives.Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
