Job Description: Objectives for this position include, but are not limited to the following: · Learn, understand, and train subordinate staff on the client companies' goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.· Control and recommend direct advertising to stimulate volume of driver applicants· Track effectiveness of direct advertising and report same to operating managers· Understand hiring guidelines and freight patterns and match driver applicants to the needs of the operating companies· Understand and communicate the client companies' driver personnel needs to staff and communicate recruiting and advertising progress status to client companies' managers· Understand and continually communicate the business partner relationship between the services provided by STS and its client companies· Manage driver application approval process· Monitor and minimize driver expenses relative to travel and orientation processes· Ensure proper record keeping of accidents, injuries, service failures, fines, tickets, etc in Driver Inquiry screen.· Facilitate smooth flow of weekly driver orientation.
