Description: This position is an integral part of the admissions team reporting directly to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment and is responsible for the following: Evaluate application files and make admissions decisions in the absence of the Director. Participate in the hiring process and training programs for new employees and student workers in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Assist the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment in overseeing the recruitment process including prospective student information collection and processing and travel schedules. Assist in the general oversight of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions including the efficient use of professional staff time. Assist in the implementation of a recruitment strategy which includes travel, direct mail, electronic mail, telemarketing, and campus visitation programs designed to meet university enrollment goals. Seek networking opportunities to build relationships that will expand Union\'s student market.
