Job Description: Girls Incorporated of Delaware, a highly respected agency serving girls, young women and their families for over 50 years, is seeking an outstanding and dedicated individual to serve as Executive Director. The Executive Director must be a leader with strengths in fundraising and marketing, staff and board development, strategic and financial planning, and program analysis. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be knowledgeable about the issues facing young girls today. The Girls Inc. Executive Director must be prepared to champion the causes of girls and their families in the state of Delaware. The Executive Director reports to a Board of Directors and works closely with its President. He/She is responsible for a senior management team.
Job Requirements: Qualifications: A minimum of five years management experience, including experience managing a budget in excess of $1 million, staff development, marketing and strategic planning, fundraising, and communication. Non-Profit experience is a plus. A Masters degree is preferred and CFRE designation is desirable but not required.
