Job Description:
Assist in developing and maintaining Departmental training program structure, curriculum, and instructional objectives to include awareness activities, user and professional cyber security training, and integration with other Office of Cyber Security initiatives. Validate training materials, including procedural documentation, reference materials, and any assessment tools, with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. Assist with the investigation and resolution of training issues, including policy and process discrepancies and irregularities. Develop training records, databases, matrices, and performance improvement metrics, evaluate training effectiveness, and review and recommend changes for continuous improvement of the training program. Work with Program Offices to ensure that their training processes are effective and current with DOE requirements. The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: Bachelor degree (Masters preferred) in Education, Communications, Information Technology, or Technical Writing or related field of study. A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
