Job Description:
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS · Supervises and oversees the work of one component course registrar and six component administrators. · Assists component leadership with decisions related to securing or transitioning management services, to include contract development and negotiations. · Oversees and handles activities for newly transitioned management services contracts, as needed, to include leadership development, conference planning, membership development, publications, election process, governance functions, and communication with general membership and officers. · Actively trains and supports the transition of activities, staff, and leadership of component contracts, to include attending meetings and participating in conference calls. · Monitors the scope of services provided to existing contracts and investigates ways to expand. · Assists component leadership with establishing effective operating procedures, providing leadership develop opportunities for volunteers, and offering suggestions of ways volunteers can overcome challenges. · Evaluates the skill sets and expertise required for incoming component executives to provide services to component leadership and members, and to make sure the objectives of the component are met. · Assists with the development of the department's budget.
