Minimum Qualifications Education/Training Graduate of an accredited pharmacy college recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education Completion of an emergency contraception training course approved by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education curriculum based programs from an accredited college of pharmacy, applicable state or local health department programs, or programs recognized by the board of pharmacy. Equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered in lieu of requirements. Licensure/Certification Valid Hawaii Pharmacist license (must meet education requirement(s) for Hawaii State licensure). Current for Healthcare Provider or for the Professional Rescuer certification. Experience/Other Three years supervisory experience in a large, outpatient, or inpatient setting. Demonstrated knowledge of related federal, state and local regulations and accreditation requirements including standards. Demonstrated ability to safely handle and/or prepare various pharmaceutical compounds (e.g., chemotherapeutic agents, biologicals). Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in the following: adaptability, change management, conflict resolution, customer service, decision making, group presentations, influence, interpersonal relations, leadership, oral communication, problem solving, quality management, staff development/coaching, strategic thinking/strategy development, team building, teamwork, and written communication.
