Individual plans, coordinates and manages the development of civil / structural engineering standards for design, procurement, and construction of transmission lines and substations - Individual performs research of industry practices; assist in evaluating past practices, coordinates engineering reviews, supports engineering meetings, monitors vendor performance- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Technology is required with at least 8 yrs of experience for the senior position and 5 yrs experience for the engineer position - Engineering experience should be related to the design, construction, operation or maintenance aspects of the electric utility industry - A background in transmission line or substation systems and components is highly desired - Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards, related to substations and transmission lines is preferred - Strong organizational skills, effective verbal communication, concise writing, and initiative are required - Proficiency in the use of information technology systems and associated software is required US Citizen or Green Card Holder Drug Test Background Check To successfully apply to this job, you must click here rather than on the apply link/button on this page.
