Job Description:
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. Designs, implements, and maintains new, moderately complex databases. Oversees the technical design, development, and maintenance of existing databases and master files. Ensures performance and resolves problems, analyzes and projects long-range space requirements on all databases and other applications. Interfaces with IT areas as needed and documents and tracks any needed system enhancements within the Finance department. Assure proper conversion or shutdown of legacy systems by developing and documenting enterprise solutions for successful transition to core processing systems. Train end users, as needed. Provide decision support and procedural input to ensure that processing efficiency does not compromise internal control mechanisms. Maintain documentation of all exceptions and communicates to ensure accuracy of data. Direct activities of lower-level analysts/specialists. Performs other duties as assigned.
