Job Description:
Oversees the operation of the branch office and is directed by the District Operations Manager for all operational duties. 1. Contributes to the development and implementation of the Branch's business plan and strategic initiatives. 2. Responsible for achieving individual sales, referral, and service quality goals. 3. Responsible for coaching and developing subordinates in achieving individual sales, referral and service quality goals and in operational procedures. 4. Actively lead and participate in branch goal attainment 5. Accountable for individual and branch sales skills proficiency and product knowledge. 6. Submits accurate and timely reports which include all monthly reports and responsible for the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts assigned to the branch. 7. Handles complaints, inquiries or problems directed to the branch by customers or management. 8. Ensures that the branch is in compliance with Bank policies, all legal and regulatory requirements and that operations are maintained within the guidelines and standards approved by Valley National Bank. 9. Accountable for satisfactory audit ratings specific to operational policies, procedures and compliance to include such functions as AML/BSA, wire transfers, authority levels, cash limits/controls, etc. 10. Assists in managing the performance and development of employees within the branch.
