This position is located in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Office of Management, Financial Management Division, Washington, DC. The incumbent serves as Assistant Financial Manager (Accounting), with a wide-ranging responsibilities for providing expert guidance in assigned program areas to the Bureau's Chief & Deputy Chief Financial Officers, as well as to other senior-level management officials within and outside the Bureau. Provides leadership and direction to a group of highly-technical professionals invovled in areas including revenue and administrative accounting reporting; the development of accounting policy and standards in accordance with Treasury, OMB and GAO requirements and guidelines; accounts receivable, debt collection and cash management program areas; and in a variety of program areas associated with the Bureau's CFO Annual Report, Financial Statements, and annual audits.
