Description Manager is responsible for overseeing team responsibilities which include: managing vehicle cost, developing major and minor model manufacturing plans (commitments), identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting Monozukuri function in maximizing cost reductions. Other team responsibilities include supporting the business plan development process by providing future model cost assumptions and by analyzing business plan submissions versus program commitments. This position also interacts directly with the global function in Japan to provide data for full model contract development and incorporate global rule changes into regional reporting. In addition, this position will manage the prepation of inventory transfer costs for built models.
