Job Description:

Ensure implementation of AutoNation standard operating processes for used vehicle departments and market-wide inventory management via the effective and ongoing training, development and motivation of dealership used vehicle management. The majority of time is spent in dealerships. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: oTrain, develop and motivate all Region/Market used vehicle management. oImplement Region/Market re-marketing policy, monitor and ensure compliance. oCoordinate and manage the flow of inventory within the Region/Market. oEnsure implementation of used vehicle standard operating processes (Bucket System, Trade Walk, etc.). oEnsure dealership used vehicle management are trained and effectively using available tools. (i.e. Autoxchange). oCoordinate the implementation of used vehicle marketing program and sales events working with the Region Marketing Director. oEnsure implementation of AutoNation best practice methods of marketing and merchandising used vehicles. (CDM, POP, lot signage, etc.). oMonitor compliance with reconditioning standards and work with Region/Market Fixed Ops Directors to improve communication and coordination between fixed ops and used vehicle departments. oIdentify and evaluate used vehicle personnel, performance and operational issues to management as needed.
