Job Description:
BASIC REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree directly related to this occupation. Once basic requirement is met, applicants must have one year of specialized experience directly related to this occupation equivalent to the next lower grade level. Specialized experience is experience in the planning, directing and performance of geotechnical soils investigations, soils exploration, field investigations, site layouts and testing for construction. This experience should include the planning, design, construction and operation of such major features such as large earth and rockfill dams and/or minor projects such as fish hatcheries, small flood control dams, and local flood protection works. CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: The incumbent of this position is required to possess a valid Professional Engineers License.
