Job Description:
Key Requirements: The incumbent is responsible for technical and administrative supervision of inmates who use trades and labor skills to re-manufacture finished products according to required specifications and deadlines. The incumbent must possess skill and knowledge regarding the supervision of trades and craft work which employs low skilled and very poorly motivated workers. The incumbent trains inmate workers in manufacturing, re-manufacturing, maintaining, repairing or up-fitting a wide variety of vehicles, equipment, and various automotive vehicle components. The incumbent assigns, directs, and reviews inmates' work. Under the supervision of the Assistant Factory Manager or Factory Manager, he/she plans, schedules, and coordinates work operations using the shop floor control module of Incumbent must also solve work related problems in addition to determining materials and equipment necessary to produce a final product.
