Job Description:
The Training Officer is responsible for developing a comprehensive training package that encompasses both these elements in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce and to fulfill the needs of the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: Identify training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with department managers. Design and develop training programs based on both the organization's and individual's needs. Assess the return on investment of any training or development program. Develop, with manager involvement, work flows and procedures. Amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes in the work environment. Develop training programs and provide technical answers or resources on insurance or procedural questions. Keep up on insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, company information and other operating techniques. Develop effective induction programs. Produce training materials for in-house courses. Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with department and agency procedures. Surplus Lines reporting for payment of State Of Alaska taxes and fees as well as compliance with state statutes. Perform other duties outside the scope of this job description as assigned. Qualification Requirements: Education - High school diploma Experience Required.
