Job Description:
Assess availability of appropriate instructors (including costs), then presents cost recommendation the for approval and assistance in obtaining necessary funding. Diagnosis training needs, identifies internal and external resources, and establishes priorities for education programs based on identified needs and resources. Assists services in developing program objectives for new programs as well as identifying resources available to help implementation. Monitors established programs for progress in achieving objectives.Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related. Qualification for the GS-12: Time in Grade: 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at leastrience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). Supervising or administering a training program.
