Job Description: Responsibilities:1. Responsible for planning, controlling, and general oversight of Payroll submission 2 .Research problems/issues, manual check approval, responsibility for programming and system changes/upgrades. 3. Responsible for organizational compliance to state, wage & hour, federal law, and internal policies for all Payroll processes. 4. Responsible for ensuring that XO's business process complies with such regulations to avoid severe penalties that could arise from non-compliance. 5. Responsible for employee training and evaluation, and general management of the Payroll Administrators 6. Responsible for supervising Payroll activities and policies and procedures and for compliance to Sarbannes Oxley. 7. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, motivating, controlling and communicating in a manner which facilitates the payroll function, managing a team of Payroll administrators and assures the quality of each payroll submission.
