RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage staff in accordance with organizations policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters * Direct a broad segment of clinical operations staff assuring clinical project deliverables are achieved for each clinical role within span of control. Develop managers within area of accountability to develop staff along career progression goals and strategic departmental and corporate priorities. * Formulate effective strategic goals for clinical operations across regions/countries. Take ownership for strategic initiatives within assigned unit of accountability including development of measures for success. * Provide strategic leadership and approval for the clinical resourcing process and outcomes, clinical hiring targets and processes and onboarding and training standards. * Evaluate the quality of the clinical work product for clinical roles. Evaluate workload, quality and budget metrics through regular analysis of data. Initiate action plans to improve efficiencies, project outcomes and quality metrics for clinical operation processes and roles. * Ensure projected net revenue and contribution margins, overhead costs and operating surplus. Play a leadership role in the budget development process and in the development of key fiscal outcome metrics. Monitor the execution of the clinical budget for designated region via thorough analysis of ongoing outputs.
