Job Description:
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is currently seeking a Chief Risk Officer responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive process for identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks agency wide. The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to ensuring the competence and integrity of the agency's financial and electronic data systems and procedures while monitoring the implementation of an internal compliance program. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law or Public Finance or equivalent discipline, supplemented by seven (7) to ten (10) years of senior financial management experience including demonstrated background in the development and implementation of complex auditing, accounting, and management analysis in the private or public sector.
