Sr Procurement Agent (Power Products)
Location Lake Mary, FL
Compensation $60,000-$70,000
Relocation Provided
*Must have Buying experience with Power Products*
REQUIREMENTS/ KEYS TO POSITION:
Buying experience with Power Products (Switchgear experience valuable)
Supply development experience
Pricing and quoting experience on their own
Studying bids experience
International buying experience a plus
LCC knowledge a plus
BS in Engineering
SCOPE:
Lead the efforts for Key Commodity Management, cost reductions, Emerging Countries sourcing, supply chain rationalization and overall Supply Chain Performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead an across functional team to develop lower cost suppliers in emerging countries.
Develop and implement strategies for key commodities.
Identify and develop strategic relationships with vendors that have a critical impact on PPMV Switchgear.
Develop, negotiate, write, and implement supplier long terms contract agreements.
Identify potential areas of cost savings. Implement material cost reductions with identified strategic and key commodity suppliers.
Assure that key commodity suppliers meet companies expectations in terms of cost, quality and delivery time.
Support PPMV Supply Chain Manager to improve supplier performance through supplier development efforts.
Support BA and Division commodity team initiatives.
Coordinate activities between the PPMV businesses to assure full utilization of companies purchasing leverage.
Work at all times within the standards contained in the companies Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Valid passport and willingness to travel abroad.
Strong communication skills are necessary to work effectively within the organization and with suppliers.
CPM/CPIM is preferred.
Requires the ability to work effectively in teams.
PC skills including working knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Access.

Maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping and assure compliance with all environmental regulations
EDUCATION
A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or the applied sciences.
Purchasing or supply management training or skills are essential
