Graduate level degree preferred in medicine, epidemiology, health economics or health service research. Health care industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical business including R&D, clinical and marketing. 8-10 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong epidemiologic, health economics, health outcomes and scientific knowledge. Significant experience in observational trials, including disease-state and drug registry studies. Experience in clinical project development and execution, including advancement of successful strategies to prospectively generate data in support of brand value propositions. Experience in the development or selection of Patient-Reported Outcomes assessments for US label claims. Experience in the collection of health care utilization data and the development/implementation of economic models. Experience in working in a cross-functional environment. Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization. Evidence of exceptional team work. Demonstrated analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills. Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal ability. Demonstrates acceptable level of performance for all Associate Director competencies as defined in the On Track to Success Competency Model. Proficiency in MSOffice, Outlook and database applications, including knowledge of computer modeling and data analysis. Ability to travel domestically and internationally (may include overnight travel).
