Job Description:
Manage the bioanalytical outsourcing for studies conducted by Millennium. In this capacity, this individual maybe required to visit and qualify contract research organizations monitor Millennium studies that are conducted in these labs, and manage the outsourcing budget. • Represent the bioanalytical group at project related meetings and to interact with discovery, toxicology and clinical scientists/managers. • Perform quality control review of bioanalytical data generated from this lab and from. Provide guidance and solutions on issues routinely encountered in daily work. • Take the lead on investigations of atypical results and other issues which may have regulatory impact. • Be able to work of specialized projects as deemed necessary with minimal supervision. • May be required to participate in regulatory inspections. Qualifications: The qualified candidate must have: • BS or MS degree in Chemistry/physical science, Biology/related science • 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience (i.e. Pharmaceutical, Bio Technology, Contract Research Organizations) • Strong working knowledge of personal computers. • Strong working knowledge of various lab testing using diversified wet and instrumental chemical analysis in a manner that is consistent with site approved safety guidelines and regulatory testing requirements.
