Job Description:
This position also insures the continued supply of monoclonal antibodies for current products. Duties Include Plan, supervise and carry out all activities in the cell culture lab and mouse room. Be responsible for breaking out existing cell lines and growing them up in appropriate media for either ascites production or a bioreactor. Insure all materials are available and inventoried so that cell line screening can take place. Screen all new cell line development projects with target proteins or cross reactants. Prepare all reagents needed including coating plates or making conjugates. Run western transfers and zonals. Participate in the research, development and implementation of new techniques Research new techniques and participate in setting them up and running. Generate and analyze data.
