The director sets strategy, priorities and best practices to deliver superior communications to therganization and employees. The director operates as a consultant txecutives to develop global employee communication plans, executive communication vehicles and overarching message platforms. He or she may also interface with Corporate Communications functions. The Director, Communications: Proactively seeks to understand Abbott's global internal and external communication goals to recommend and implement appropriate communication tactics. Manages crisis communications and confidential or sensitive organizational issues. Oversees development ommunications team. Participates withelopment and oversight of global Communications to achieve-range plan goals and enhance the employee experience. Provides senior counsel and oversight to executive communications, talking points, presentations, speeches and other vehicles.
