Job Description:
Perform generalist HR duties with a focus on employee relations and employee counseling. Respond to day-to-dues and problems relating to additions to staff, replacements, compensation, benefits, training and development and ensure timely and appropriate action by coordinating with each respective area of human resources. - Provide customer service by assisting employees and answering questions pertaining to a variety any issues they may have. - Conduct exit interviews, inform employee of benefits, unemployment (if necessary), distribute final pay, answer questions and collect company property. In addition, obtain detailed exit information for analyzing turnover. - Work closely across functioparticularly Compensation and Talent Acquisition. - Work on other ad hoc projects as they arise - acquisition, integration, reorganization, expansion, etc. Requirements: - Bachelor degree in Business Administration, related field oion is preferred. - At least 5 years experience as anneralist - Ideally experience gained providi multi-site operation (retail / food service). - Strong knowledge of and experience in employee relations. Experience with unionized environment would be beneficial. - Knowledge of and enthusiasm for Sports. - Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully at all levels. - Knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred.
