Job Description:
Supervise Production Machining department on the 24/7 Night Crew (2-2-3 Schedule) 2. Hire, train and develop hourly associates. 3. Schedule personnel and plan production for maximum efficiency.4. Set budget costs and operate within budget.5. Work closely with hourly associates on work quality.6. Continuously improve quality and reduce variation on all operations.7. Propose and implement standard operating procedures and assure associate's safety.8. Ensure that the manufacturing or maintenance processes meet and/or support the production schedule to quality specifications.9. Schedule items to operate the department to meet daily and weekly production by item.10. Work closely with other supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and production personnel.11. Understand and work with precision grinding operations and processes coordinating with engineers and technicians. 12. Make manufaturing decisions for production and quality.
