Job Description:
Assist in developing safe operating procedures for machines/equipment. 3. Hire or assist in hiring. Coordinate training for new employees, as well as existing employees. Gain a thorough knowledge and be able to train employees on: automated equipment, machine safeguarding, troubleshooting, work and test procedures, work order flow, routing, and delivery, quality reporting and Daktronics policies and procedures.4. Responsible for the ongoing evaluation of employee performance, motivation and discipline of employees. Conduct formal performance evaluations timely and objectively. Identify and groom future leaders in manufacturing.5. Foster teamwork through effective communication regarding the relationship between quality workmanship, customer service and customer satisfaction.6. Provide leadership in the continuous improvement process utilizing lean manufacturing concepts. Work with the Billboard Manufacturing leadership team and Engineering team to improve procedures and processes and to reduce scrap and rework. 7. Participate in the budgeting and planning process for Digital Billboard Manufacturing.
