This is a wonderful opportunity for someone that is progressing upward in their career and is looking to take on advanced responsibilities and get into management. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of progressive responsibilities in the areas of month and year end close, cost accounting, inventory, exposure to systems and has been involved with system implementations or conversions. Prior public accounting experience is preferred but not required with heavy exposure to manufacturing or working towards your designation is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work closely with Corporate Controller and to be groomed and eventually take over the Corporate Controller position. Month, quarter and year-end close Semi and Annual physical inventories Assist with annual budget Prepare and analyze financial statements Prepare monthly variance analysis Assists with system conversion Assist with various other assignment requested by the management team Our client is offering a base salary.
