Job Description:
This role is part of the Sales Operations management team and oversees the technical and industry experts that support the North America Sales organization.Summary:Provide general supervision of technical support staff for the direct sales force in the areas of industry trends, applications and proposal work. Specifically the team would be responsible for review of customer needs, customer specifications, scope of work for proposal preparation, providing technical support to customers, direct sales teams, estimators and potentially interfacing with vendors.Responsibilities: Develop a strong team of industry experts that gather and review customer specifications, prepare comments & exceptions and develop scope of supply for comprehensive professional proposals. Manage a team of employees to objectives, attract and retain talent, provide development and coaching, conduct performance feedback. Develop the detailed metrics to measure and manage the success of individual and team performance Participate in sales calls as part of the business development process. Attend pre-award meetings or technical discussions as required. Provide technical support to customers on issues and be the voice of the customer within our company. Proactively manages and distributes workload issues within the office. Develop effective rapport with customer contacts.
