The Safety Manager of this facility, approximately 1000 employees, will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs and policies in the areas of employee safety, accident & incident prevention, safe work practices, safety training, compliance, Lock-Out-Tag-Out and the system. Top candidates will possess the following qualifications: Must be a change agent that is able to lead a business-wide safety initiative Minimum of a BS Degree in Safety & Health or related field 3-5 years experience in a safety related position in a manufacturing environment Experience working in a union environment preferred Extensive professional knowledge of OSHA and Safety Regulatory Standards Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization and government agencies.
