Job Description:
This position will ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, company polices and procedures, and labor agreements. During the construction phase of our project, the Safety Manager will interface with the General Contractor on safety issues, interface with subcontractors, project manager and internal support group on a daily basis to ensure that the project safety requirements and specifications are met. Create and submit reports, develop and enforce policies, procedures, programs, standards and design criteria affecting construction safety. Coordinate construction safety program development and implementation with General Contractor. After the construction phase of our project, the Safety Manager will contribute to the health and safety of all employees through the development and implementation of effective health and safety programs.
