Job Description:
Oversee the employment function in order to ensure that all employment processes are followed, including maintenance of recruitment sources, meeting departmental staffing needs and selection procedures. 2. Work in conjunction with Compensation Analyst on job description development and implementation of job analysis processes. Confer with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. Assist in the creation of job descriptions and/or review and editing job descriptions written by others. The Compensation Analyst, in conjunction with the Senior Human Resources management team, will have final approval authority over all job descriptions. 3. Assist in the development of all strategic elements as it relates to staffing and recruitment on a company-wide basis. 4. Ensure compliance of recruitment and selection-related functions, such as recruitment advertising, testing, and selection procedures with local, state, and federal regulations. 5. Assist Senior HR management in the implementation of any special recruitment goals and programs as they relate to the hiring of minorities, veterans, or individuals with disabilities. 6. Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and provide information about the organization and position. 7. Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization. 8. In conjunction with the Vice President, Staffing & Recruitment, develop recruitment programs and collateral, such as brochures about the organization and its opportunities. 9. Coordinate participation in, set up displays, and work at job fairs. 10. Manage all reference and background checks on applicants. Coordinate communications with applicants. 11. Review turnover data to determine sources and causes of turnover for formulating recruitment and selection strategies, in conjunction with Senior HR management.
