Job Description:
The Buyer will be responsible for developing and executing diverse merchandise assortments utilizing current and new suppliers. Merchandise categories include but are not limited to electronics, cameras, sporting goods, toys, household appliances, lawn and garden, hardware, apparel, house wares, and home and office. Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position will include: Develop dynamic weekly opportunity buy assortments Maintain and develop collaborative relationships with internal business partners Manage Vendor and Supplier selection process, relationship and terms of sale negotiations Merchandise margin performance Creative problem solving Develop marketing strategies Qualifications This position requires an undergraduate degree in Merchandising, Marketing or Business. Additional qualifications include: Seven years of sourcing, purchasing, and managing merchandise assortments.
