Job Description:

Resident Engineers to, under supervision of our Technical Services division; perform civil engineering work of moderate difficulty and responsibility on capital projects. Monitor and coordinate contractors performing construction work. Ensure that contractors adhere to plans and specifications. Identify and resolve field condition issues. Correspond with contractors and clarify construction issues. Review and approve contractor\'s payment requisitions, change orders and overruns. Write daily and weekly construction project reports and keep calculation book. Prepare cost projections. Schedule and run meetings. Maintain accurate records and write reports. Work with Capital Projects division regarding change orders, interpretation of documents, shop drawing approvals and other architectural and engineering related issues. Review, research and advise project managers regarding contractors\' dispute claims, non-performance and budget issues. Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college and either one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work or a Master\'s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college.
