Major Duties: The position provides supervision to the Division of Engineering and Maintenance responsible for assessing project feasibility, performing engineering design, contract development, construction contract oversight, and performing facility maintenance and condition assessments of resource management projects, facilities, and infrastructure in the. The area serviced includes the District Offices and their associated field offices, centers, and stations inhe position supervises approximately 10 employees. The incumbent maintains oversight of the civil engineering program, prioritizes and assigns work among the staff civil engineers and technicians and force account staff. The incumbent is responsible for conducting technical review and granting approval of engineering designs or work products, and maintaining quality control on contracts for engineering services and/or construction projects.
