REQUIREMENTS: The selected individual will have a proven background in water resource engineering and management with a minimum of 8 years experience working on municipal or federal storm water and/or water quality issues. Must be capable of being a team leader and possess excellent project management and business development skills. Must have recent knowledge of the North Carolina water resources market. Must have a Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and be a PE in North Carolina or be able to obtain within 6 months. Experience with floodplain management, BMP design, environmental regulations, and local governmental policy a plus. RESPONSIBILTIES: Provide senior technical oversight for engineering projects. Assist in growth of client revenues through expansion of the existing engineering/water resources projects and clients Lead and contribute to business development efforts by identifying and marketing new clients and business opportunities Manage, mentor and develop water resource staff Prepare and review project cost proposals Provide metric reports and projections for the water resources business line Assist with recruitment of new staff.
