Job Description:

Senior Civil Engineer serves as a resident engineer in charge of managing large and complex public works construction projects and/or oversees the work of several Resident Engineers in charge of public works construction projects. Performs independent quality assurance (Q/A) review of contractor\'s work and water pollution control program. Coordinates and performs constructability reviews of plans and specifications for future construction projects. Investigates the merit of contractors' requests for additional compensation for contract change orders, disputed items and claims. Coordinates and participates in Dispute Review Board, mediation and arbitration processes.Open until further notice. Requirements Must be registered by the State of California as a Professional Engineer and possess two years of post-registration experience performing professional civil or structural engineering work.
