Job Description:
Controllership encompasses contract administration, revenue accounting and licensee audit services for seven lines of businesses, maintaining compliance with GÇàs accounting policies, procedures and minimum control standards; developing and implementing enhanced controls and processes; executing a strategy for automation and increasingly efficient processing, and other special projects. Position Overview: GÇó Responsible for performing the day- to-day project accounting services for assigned Retail Sales & Marketing (RSM) departments. GÇó Research and resolve RSM inquiries for assigned RSM departments. GÇó Routine communication with Manager relating to financial close, issues and deliverables. GÇó Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned RSM departments, from project set up/maintenance to general ledger analysis. GÇó Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations. GÇó Conduct accrual meetings with Project Managers, provide accrual guidelines to ensure expenses are recognized according to GAAP and Corporate policies. GÇó Responsible for the preparation and analysis of the periodic management reporting of financial results for assigned RSM departments against budget and forecast: GÇó Submission and presentation of financial results to RSM line owners. GÇó Prepare all RSM Creative Project Reporting for LOBs. GÇó Prepare journal entries related to assigned RSM departments. GÇó Prepare Project Cost Analysis for Bi-weekly Project Managers Meetings. GÇó Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance. GÇó Cross train as back-up for other staff in the case of emergencies.
