Serves as initial point of contact for all new members and member queries. This includes processing new and renewing members, following up with member queries Identifies potential new members, sets membership goals in partnership with the Executive Director and Board of Directors Maintains membership database Creates monthly newsletter Assists with all LF events and outreach Assists with public relations and marketing for LF Assists with outreach to partner organizations Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of small business development issues Strong networking abilities Sales experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, MySpace, Facebook, YouTube Ability to establish priorities and work independently on assigned tasks Requirements: Completion of bachelors degree program at an accredited college or university or comparable life experience One year work experience in community economic development or business development Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
