Job Description:
Responsibilities include directing ad sales/ad reps and oversight of financial operations, production, editorial develop, and design. VP provides strategic oversight, working with account executives, clients, and president to ensure operational effectiveness, quality output, client satisfaction, and bottomline performance. Also involved in publishing/communications consulting and business development. Must have strong background/experience in managing, analyzing, directing magazine publishing operations; developing magazine ad sales and other revenue streams; targeting editorial for niche audiences and specilaties; maintaining cost-effective operations; entrepreneurial sense of business development and growth; strong financial and written/oral communication skills. NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo) Requirements Minimum 5 years magazine management experience, college degree, track record of successful oversight/mgmt. of publishing operations in for-profit environment.
