Job Description:
Support Director of Production/Senior Director in Corp initiatives (i.e. vendor management, and various business models); · Identify new factories or expand facilities of existing factory base in growing countries. Manage costing/sampling to ensure new facility can meet production needs; · Manage volume forecast and submit quarterly/seasonally; · Identify and evaluate possible vendors for specific programs; · Analyze test reports, make recommendations to Director of Production · Manage vendor market share allocation; · Manage communication with Global Production business partner and pre-production manager to develop seasonal plans and alignment strategy; · Responsible for post-adoption re-sampling needs/direction from SF Global Production; and · May be assigned to various projects that utilize skills. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Merchandising, Production Management or a related degree followed by 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered of a related production management or quality control occupation. If no degree or unrelated degree, the employer will accept one year of related experience and/or relevant post-secondary education for each year not completed towards the required degree. · Market knowledge of worldwide apparel manufacturing
