Job Description:
The leadership role requires close monitoring of established systems geared to servicing the customer and markets. This position will be key to assuring customer schedules and profit objectives. Drive and manage all issues outside the department with supporting organizations that affect the ability of the supervisors to manage the issue internal to the department. Operate area within quality, delivery, cost and profit objectives. Assist Sales, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Engineering, in the handling of customer problems and opportunities in a professional and timely manner. Direct the hiring, training and development of human resources capable of maintaining area objectives as well as having the flexibility to answer changing needs. Promote good housekeeping and safe working conditions. Maintain our competitive edge by staying abreast of technological. Direct and coordinate effective and timely problem solving to insure continuous process improvements and commitments to our customers. Manage all issues affecting department performance and flow to include materials planning, outsourcing, scheduling, engineering, maintenance, and quality support. Drive Continuous Improvement. Mentor employees and support personnel to develop skills needed to make the organization a strong successful leadership team. Drive results driven continuous improvement activities (Including L6 Sigma Projects) Scrap & Rework Reduction, and Flow. Use initiative to choose alternative methods of accomplishing objectives. Operate area within cost, profit and quality objectives. Supervise all activities to maintain an effective, well trained allowing flexing across processes, highly motivated work force, capable of providing on-time deliveries and servicing the customers.
