Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager will manage and coordinate all Human Resources activities in the Jackson location as well as participate in corporate-wide Human Resources management team initiatives. Responsibilities include coaching, counseling, mentoring, and other employee relations activities for employees and management. Ensures State and Federal legal compliance which govern or apply to Human Resource related matters. Will have cost accountability and responsibility for those areas under his/her direct control. Will oversee and make recommendations for recruiting, selection and retention; safety training and workers compensation; equal employment opportunity, orientation and other training; HRIS and record retention; salary administration and performance reviews. Must have demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; an ability to function in a collaborative environment; and strategic as well as tactical experience.
