Job Description: This person will be the direct manager for the Human Resources staff. They will act as a business partner to the management staff and communicate HR policies and procedures to all staff. Responsibilities: - Manages all HR functions, ensures all policies, procedures, and practices incorporate, encourage and recognize diversity. - Identifies, counsels, and provides recommendations/feedback to employees and management on employee/management issues, performance, and team dynamics. - Develop and conducts training programs for the employee population including management. - Ensures compliance with federal and state law in the areas oorkplace violence, & substance abuse. - Develops and oversees that all staffing and retention goals and all HR strategies meet objectives. Skills: Requirements: - Able to communicate with all levels of the organization. - Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration or related field) -preferred - 5 + years experience in a HR Generalist role and a minimum of three years of management experience - Exposure to a manufacturing or distribution operations preferred - Bilingual a plus.
