Job Description: New York and western New England. The Center incorporates the 631-bed Albany Medical Center Hospital; one of upstate New York's largest teaching hospitals, Albany Medical College, which was founded in 1839 as one of the nation's first private medical schools; the Albany Medical Center Faculty Group Practice, staffed by full and part-time clinical faculty members of the Medical College; and the Albany Medical Center Foundation, Inc., one of the largest fund-raising organizations in the region.Albany Med is seeking an experienced, high energy, results-oriented human resource professional to administer and develop customer-focused human resource programs. A Bachelors degree is required; masters degree preferred; CCP, SPHR, CEBS and strong project management and consulting skills preferred. Must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in a complex, quality driven organization. Prior healthcare experience a strong plus. A thorough knowledge of all aspects of human resource management is required in addition to experience developing compensation programs and a full range of ERISA employee benefit programs (pension, self insurance and management of external benefit providers) for the healthcare industry.
